Filmbase
Filmbase is a not-for-profit resource centre for new and emerging filmmakers. Their building on Curved Street , in the heart of Dublin 's Temple Bar, is a public space where filmmakers can network, hire filmmaking equipment, take training courses and receive support and information about working within the Irish film industry. Filmbase also publishes the cultural magazine Film Ireland and administers a number of film and documentary production award funding schemes. Filmbase also hires out a number of venue spaces including their ground floor gallery, basement screening/performance space and a selection of training rooms. The gallery and basement spaces have played host to a whole variety of exhibitions, festivals, events and more.
