The Gate Theatre
The world famous Gate Theatre was established by the flamboyant theatrical couple Hilton Edwards and Micheál Mac Líammóir in 1928. It has played host to notable actors of stage and screen such as Orson Welles, James Mason, Michael Gambon and Ralph Fiennes and regularly features high quality Irish and international theatrical productions.
