Ceim Hill Museum
The farmhouse at Ceim Hill is centuries old and is built in the style of many old dwellings in Ireland with an open hearth. Among the impressive collection at Ceim Hill are artifacts from the Megalithic and Neolithic Stone Ages and from both the Bronze and Iron Ages. There are also old Irish farming implements as well as examples of locally produced cloth such as lace and linen along with West Cork cloaks. There was much fighting in Cork from 1919-1921 and for history enthusiasts there is a War Of Independence exhibit.
