Kanturk Rural Farm Museum
Kanturk Rural Farm Museum takes its visitors through 150 years of rural Irish history and development. A collection of farming buildings demonstrate period farming life and methods. A working vintage railway, horse powered farming machinary, forge, carpentry workshop and the rural post office recreate the past and educate both children and adults alike. There are also exhibitions of ancient stones from both the pagan celtic and christian periods. A park and garden hosts heritage and nature tours and a coffee shop.
