Schull Planetarium
Schull Planetarium is located on Schull Community College campus. It is used to encourage interested students to develop an interest in astronomy. Activites at the planetarium include lectures and the use of telescopes which track and observe planets, stars and other celestial bodies. Schull Community College also has an astronomy club which is run by the college students themselves.The planetarium was the first of its type in the country and was opened in March, 1989 by the Irish President Dr. Patrck Hillery.
