Basement Museum
The Basement Museum is home to exhibitions covering Kerry history, tradition, legends and folklore in photographs and print. Among them are newspapers which are two centuries old. There are a number of other notable items such as boots worn by the Spailpins or the landless labourers of the early 19th century, the first tricolor flown in Killorglin at the 1920 Puck Fair and part of the transatlantic Valentia cable. Other exhibits cover the Valentia Branch Railway and Barrel Top Gypsy Caravan.
