Castlepollard Museum

In the late 16th century the Pollard landowning dynasty was established based at Castle Pollard and gave their name to the village of Castlepollard. Tullynally Castle, the home of the Pakenham dynasty is also close by. The area experienced much trubulence during the following centuries which saw repeated wars and rebellions across the island of Ireland. Castlepollard Museum contains artifacts, exhibits and information of interest to visitors.
