Inismagrath

Inismagrath - Ionas MacRatha

The parish of Inishmagrath, lies to the north and northwest of Lough Allen. It touches nearly the whole northern shore of the lake and almost exactly the half of its western shore. It is bounded to the east for a short distance by the River Shannon, beyond which lies portion of the parish of Ballinaglera. To the north it touches the parishes of Cloonclare and Killargue, the the west lie Killenummery and Geevagh with the parish of Kilronan to the southwest.
