Commemorative granite plaque at Casement Aerodrome, Baldonnel which marks the spot where the Bremen took off on the first east to west transatlantic flight in 1927. The plaque was unveiled by the Taoiseach Liam Cosgrave on the forty-fifth anniversary of the flight in 1973
