Completed in 1928,the Ashe Memorial Hall,named after Kerry patriot Thomas Ashe served as the headquarters of Kerry Co. Council and Tralee Urban Council until the 1990s. It is arguably Tralee's finest public building and currently houses Kerry County Museum. The photograph taken from the nearby Town Park probably involves some reworking by the photographer as a clear view of the building would normally be obscured by trees
