Sewer vent on Bushy Park Road.
The lettering indicates that this sewer vent was erected by the SDRDC, namely South Dublin Rathdown Urban District Council, who were responsible for the area before it became part of the Rathmines and Rathgar Urban district council. This sewer vent is on Bushy Park Road.

This is a substantial thatched house at Ross Cross, Navan. It has 5 windows on the upper storey and 4 on the lower. It was a well known landmark on the Dublin-Cavan road and was a public post office for many years. It is now completely derelict.

A selection of railings in the Rathmines/Ranelagh/Rathgar area of Dublin
Examples of moulded and beaten ironwork are shown. Floral mouldings and designs can be seen, including the common honeysuckle and shamrock motifs. The fishtail ended curl is also included. Dublin is one of the few cities where Victorian railings remain intact.
