Borris Viaduct
Borris Viaduct near the village of Borris, Co. Carlow. It was desinged by the architect William Le Fanu for the Bagenalstown to Ballywilliam railway and consists of 16 arches of 11 metres span. The viaduct is constructed of limestone and is 50 metres above the road. The line was closed in 1963, just over a hundred years after its construction in c1860.

Board of Trustees
Board of Trustees of the Turnpike Road from Dublin to Carlow via Blessington and Baltinglass 1843. The Board were named by Act of George IV, with power to elect ten additional members. The name of each member together with their place of residence, their nearest post town and the date when each qualified and took their seat on the Board. In the case of all members it was at varying times during the year, 1829.
