Two pages of original 1897 document conveyancing lands in the townland of Carrickboy Ballyshannon from the landowner Thomas Connolly to Edward Flanagan and James Moohan. First page is a map of the area; the second page gives the terms of any future tenancies noting exceptions to fishery rights, and signed by John Ross, Judge of the Chancery, and other court officials.

Colour photograph of the front exterior of Hyde Park Barracks, Sydney, Australia. In the 17th century, it was also a holding-place for convicts deported from the British Isles. By the 19th century, it was the first stop for women emigrants before going on to be hired as domestics and farm hands in greater New South Wales. It was here that the Irish workhouse orphan girls stayed.
