The Irish Film Archive

The Irish Film Archive's main objective is to acquire, preserve and make available Ireland’s moving image heritage. This material is a visual document of Ireland’s past and present and chronicles the development of modern Ireland in a uniquely accessible manner. The Archive collections include approximately 20,000 cans of film, magnetic tape, film stills and posters. The Archive is a valuable resource for anyone interested in Ireland’s moving image heritage. Collections may be consulted by appointment.
