Bouchier's Castle is, in fact, a tower house dating from the fifteenth century.
It is not in use today but can be visited.

The Ballybrood Watchtower is another historic building that featured in the Tourist Association Survey of 1943 and 1944.
The watchtower is located on the summit of a hill and was a military station in the 1800s. It is a popular tourist attraction in the area.
O'Grady Monument, Limerick

The O' Grady Monument was erected in honour of champion Limerick weight-thrower John O'Grady.
O'Grady held the world record in 1924 for throwing a 28lb weight a length of almost 40 feet.

Croom Mill was built in 1788 and closed in 1927, although the mill wheel continued to work until the 1940s.
