Bean Pháidín
|
Background
A comic song sung in the sean nós style, 'Bean Pháidín' is the jealous protest of a woman who longs to be Páidín's wife. She makes no secret of her dislike of Páidín's true wife, as she sings 'May your legs be broken, Páidín's wife'.
