The Yew Walk was planted during the 1850's. It links the Terraced Flower Garden to the pergola walk and rose garden.
It is planted with by eight pairs of Fastigated Irish Yew. As the Yews grew they were wired to maintain their columnar shape.
By the time of restoration only one loss had occurred. Restoration involved removing encroaching vegetation, ivy and dead wood. Some also needed to be re-wired. This work has since being carried out.
