National Spatial Strategy

The National Spatial Strategy 2002-2020 was the national strategic planning framework to achieve a better balance of social, economic and physical development, across Ireland, supported by more effective planning.  However, it was scrapped in February 2013 by Minister Phil Hogan, with the idea that it would be eventually replaced.  A 2013 review of the NSS, "Revisiting the National Spatial Strategy ten years on", can be found here.
