What can I do to help save the Rainforests?

- Buy recycled paper and products.
- Recycle or reuse wood and paper. This will result in fewer trees being cut down.
- Avoid buying hardwood furniture such as mahogany and teak that comes from the rainforest.
- Buy products that have the ‘Fair trade’ logo as this means that people working in these areas were treated fairly and paid a fair price for their work. This helps to protect the way of life of the people living in the rainforests.
- Share your knowledge of the rainforests with others.
