West Cork Model Railway Village
The Model Railway Village in Clonakilty, West Cork, recreates a typical Irish railway village in minature to a scale of 1:24. Streets, markets, shops and the busy railway complete with locamotives and carriages represent Irish daily life in the 1940s. The models and figures are hand made and painted with great attention to detail. The exhibition is aimed at young and old alike.
