Ardfert House
Ardfert House
Seat of the Crosbie family, who resided there from 1635.
It stood close to Ardfert Village, next to Ardfert Friary with extensive surrounding grounds.
The house was evacuated by The Crosbies and most of its furniture and belongings removed prior to it being burned by the I.R.A. in August 1922.
