In Ballybricken the Library occupied a former Bank of Ireland premises.
Although the floorspace was small compared to the building in Lady Lane, a full range of library services was on offer, including access to the Internet, local studies and childrens area and adult lending and reference material.
The library remained in Ballybricken until 2003 when the move back to a completely refurbished Lady Lane took place.
