Seán Dunne has published three collections of poetry, Against the Storm (Dolmen 1995), The Sheltered Nest (Gallery 1992) and Time and the Island (Gallery 1996). He has edited various anthologies including Poets of Munster (Anvil & Brandon 1985), The Cork Anthology (Cork University Press 1993) The Ireland Anthology (Gill & Macmillian 1997) as well as Something Understood: A Spiritual Anthology (Marion 1995).

The story of his own spiritual journey is told in The Road to Silence (New Island Books 1994). Seán's best loved book is his autobiography In My Father's House (Gallery 2000) the story of his early years in John's Park in Waterford.
