RIVER SUIR SHOWCASE SEMINAR
RIVER SUIR SHOWCASE SEMINAR
A range of short talks on various aspects of the River.
Tuesday 27 th Nov, Carrig Hotel, Carrick-on-Suir Time: 3-7pm
This seminar is a follow-on from the first River Suir Showcase Seminar in January, where a forum was provided to gather information and opinion on the future development of the Suir. This forum resulted in the creation of a River Suir Community Action Plan, which has now being rolled-out as part of a broader European (ERDF) funded INTERREG project called ‘Green and Blue Futures’. The Community Action Plan also has multi-agency support, including from South Tipperary Development Company. A number of funding streams are available to persons or groups with river-related projects which can be incorportated as part of the Community Action Plan. You can find out about how to engage with this plan and about the funding streams at the River Suir Showcase Seminar.
Everyone is welcome to attend the entire seminar or to drop in for a short time. So come along and meet other river people and find out what activities are going on along the river.
