Cork

Co. Cork, which is located in the southwest of the province of Munster, is the largest and southernmost county in Ireland. The most recent statistics from the Central Statistics Office (CSO) (2016) shows a population of 542868, making it the 3rd most populous county in Ireland. 

Cork borders Kerry to the west, Limerick to the north, Tipperary to the north-east and Waterford to the east. It is the largest county in Ireland by land area, and the largest of Munster's 6 counties by population and area.

Children and parents enjoyed a craft workshop at Midleton Library to celebrate Seachtain na Gaeilge. The co-ordinator, Ann O'Riordan, uses recycled materials in all her workshops.
